Jack and kendra and there family have just moved to the citty of lathen. The company he worked for just bought a company based in lathen. He was put in charge of incorporating that business into the parent compony. It was a huge promotion. It was a challenge. It came with risk but also had a lot of opportunities as well.
It ment uprooting the family. They had to sell there house in morisville.they had to leave the area where both of there families were near by. It ment leaving there friends and family and in many ways there comfort zone and head into an unknown.
Jack started out in the mail room of the compony he is now an execuative. He and the ceo at the time hit it off. He got promoted to a managerial posistion. He became an up and comer in the cooperation. While this was quite a change for the family he and kendra thought it was the right decision. They planed on staying in morisvile all there lives. They were firmly esatabished but they both agreed that this opportunity was too good to pass up. It was a carer making move.
Everything fell into place. They were able to sell there old house in morisvile. They found a house in lathen. They started to get established in this new community.
Now they wanted to find a church. They were both committed Christians. They had both grown up in independent fundamental baptist church..they had beem hevily involved in the Baptist church in morisvile. He had been a member of the truste bored and had been a Sunday school teacher. She had taught sunday school and been involved in the nursery.
Now they moved to a new area. They wanted to be pluged in to a good church. Finding a church was not an easy task. It was a big decison. Kendra was a stay at home mom. In her old town her social life was connected to her church. She would get together with other moms in church. She hoped that she would find such a network hear im lathen.
